Lew's photos focus on travel, architecture, nature and man's effect on nature. The photos are prepared as art panels, color and b&w prints and canvas art.

Lew specializes in using photographs of every kind to create contemporary mosaic style quilts. It is fabric art designed to be an accent and conversation piece
suitable for home decor, as well as business and public settings.

Lew's quilts differ from other photo quilts currently being sold in that his quilts has no limitations on how many photos can be used other than the size of the quilt itself. In Lew's quilts, it's photos that become the quilt. Photographs and Quilts, the great blend of tradition and memories.

What is a Mosaic Photo Quilt?
Mosaic Photo Quilts quilts differ from other photo or memory quilts in that there is no limitations on how many photos can be used other than the size of the quilt itself.

Your own photographs become the the quilt or wall hangings. Using your own photographs you will have your own unique and original art.
For quilt fabrics, I use Batiks but I can also use any type or color that you may want in your quilt. I  have a standard selection of Batik fabrics that I use as a reference, due to the very nature of Batik fabric, there may be slight variations in color and patterns.
Since, each quilt is completely custom, just let me know what fabrics and colors that you will want in it.  The quilt can be made from horizontal or vertical photos a or a combination or both and if there is a size you want and it is not shown, let me know what size you want. Regardless of what photos you have, Mosaic Photo Quilts can produce fabric art that will be all your own.

Choose the accent colors you want in your quilt, use the fabric codes shown and select what you want, there are no limits (other than the number of photos and quilt size).

Just contact me and let me know what you are thinking about, I will be glad to work with you to create a layout that will meet your needs.

What are your size and photo limitations?
The Mosaic Photo Art Quilts are all custom made, there are no real size limitations, but  for reference purposes the minimal size would be 20" x 24"  (using 4x6 blocks) that could contain up to 20 photos. The largest standard size  quilt/wall hang can go up to 90"x 108" (using 4x6 blocks) with up to 456 photos and since my products are all custom, you as my client will let me know what size and number of photos you want in your quilt.

Do you need the physical photos, put them on a disc or
send them by email?

If you have the photos as digital images already, you can send a disc. If requested I can supply a mailer with return postage. If your digital photo sizes aren't to large (5megs or smaller), the files could be emailed directly to me. If you have 'paper' photos that haven't been converted yet, I can convert the photos to be in your quilt for you at no additional cost and and any additional photos at my standard rates. I can supply the mailer and return postage.

I have paper based (or physical) photos that I want to use in my quilt. How will I get my photographs to you  and returned to me?
If you have photos that you want to use in your project and they are not in a digital format just let me know that you have 'paper' photos that you want to be converted and I will send a self-addressed a package to you so that you can send the photos to me. The best way to contact me is to use the contact info located above. Once I have received the photos I will scan and I'll save them in a digital formats (.jpeg) and (opt. .tif).
You will receive those photos on a DVD or CD depending on what you asked for and the photos and digital images will be sent back to you in the same condition that they were sent to me in. Any photos that are converted for use in your project are converted for no charge, any additional photos at my standard rates.

Note: Any physical photographs sent to Mosaic Photo Quilts (Lew Fuller) will all be returned to you intact with your quilt/wall hanging. Any digital images electronically sent to Mosaic Photo Quilts will be deleted from my storage units when you have accepted your quilt/wall hanging.
How are the photos put on the material?
I start from are digital images (physical photos are scanned and converted to digital files). I then print the digital photos directly into printable 100% cotton fabric. When you receive the quilt from me, the pictures in the quilt are actually part of the quilt material and washable per included directions.

How do I know what my quilt cost?
For the purposes of estimating the cost of a quilt: $25.00/sq.ft or $0.174/sq. in

As an example:
A 42”x50” quilt will cost $365.00 below shows how the cost is determined:
A quilt sized 42”x50” equals 2100 sq. in. or 14.58 sq. ft.
Using square inches to determine cost:The 2100 sq. In. x $0.174 / sq. in.
Using square feet to determine cost: The 14.58 sq. ft. x $34.50 /sq. Ft
If you have any question regarding your quilt, contact me with your requirements and I'll be happy provide you with a price quote or answer any other questions you may have. My contact info is located

How long will my order take?
It will depend on the size of the quilt or wall hanging that you ordered. For example, quilt around 42" x 50" size would be approx 60 hours. A larger-size quilt/wall hanging might run up to approx. 120hours
.  Of course the design, the number of photos will also make a difference and they could be much sooner, depending on how many orders are already in the queue.

Once you have made your purchase, I'll email to give you the start time and the time of how long it will take to complete which will depend on the size and your specific requirements.

Paying for your Custom Quilt order and Refund Policy
When you place the order, I require at least a partial payment of 25% at time when the order is placed (that is when your photos have been received). 25% when the quilting begin, and 50% at completion and approval, so that it can be sent. Mosaic Photo Art Quilts policy is to allow refund of the balance of unused funds of your initial 25% payment up to your approval of the transferred photos to the fabric and ready for quilting if the order is canceled.

Due to the very unique nature of any custom quilts or wall hangings, these items may not be returned, custom items will be approved by the client before the item is sent.

New Jersey sales tax
New Jersey residents will need to add 7% Sales Tax to the cost of the quilt. To find out what the the sales tax is, take the [price of quilt] times [the sales tax rate] which will give you the added tax.
Here is an example:
A quilt cost $504.00 x .07 (NJ sales tax) = $35.28 sales tax amount.
So the cost of the quilt shipped to a New Jersey address would be $539.28 plus shipping
 ping.
